Hi there!
I’m Neil James Garrod of Neil James Media, a Thetford-based photographer, videographer, and drone operator. I specialise in capturing high-quality portraits, weddings, and promotional content designed to help you cherish memories or maximise your business potential.
Equipped with professional cameras, pro-audio recorders, and drones, I can provide comprehensive coverage from every angle. I manage most projects independently but have a trusted team available for larger scale productions. Using the full Adobe suite and color-accurate monitors, I ensure every photo and video is professionally edited to your specific taste.

For your assurance, I hold commercial Public Liability Insurance (PLI) for both ground equipment and drones, as well as a DBS certificate.

What’s new for 2026?
Add-On Highlights Video to Wedding Photography Packages
FPV Drone for flying through buildings and making a more dynamic video.
The Studio Space is coming along nicely at The Thetford Methodist Church, with multiple backdrops and multiple lighting diffusers for flash and constant LED lighting. I am looking forward to maximising this space and welcoming lots of families and solo portraits in for a photo or video shoot.

When needed I hire in extra equipment form WEX but here are the key equipment I use:

Drones:
I have an operator ID & flyer ID from the CAA and I have commercial drone public liability insurance.
The drones I use are all 250 grams or less so the restrictions are a lot less, however when higher risks are apparent I will create a risk assessment.
DJI Mini 5 Pro + ND Filters set - Latest Mini drone from DJI - Very compact 4K and great for 360 degree captures.
DJI Neo 2 - Very compact 4K and great for FPV fly through and follow captures.
Editing and Colour Grading:
Aero 4k Pantone Certified Screen Laptop and all Adobe products.
