Behind the cameras:
Hi, I’m Neil James Garrod of Neil James Media and I am a Thetford based Videographer & Photographer.
I love what I do and hope that shines through in my work. From family portraits, weddings and promotions – I specialise in capturing the moment, enabling you to cherish them forever, even helping you get your promotion off the ground or maximising your business potential.
Using professional cameras, pro-audio recorders and drones, I’m able to cover all angles. Most of the time I work alone, but I do have a trusted team to call upon when needed. With colour accurate monitors and editing with the full Adobe suite, I can ensure your finished video & photos are beautifully presented and professional – to your taste.
I love a challenge, working with new ideas and have vast experience in eclectic collaborations. I’m passionate about making sure that customers are happy with their finished product and will always go the extra mile to achieve that.
I have commercial PLI for using ground equipment & drones, and I have a DBS certificate.

What’s new for 2025?
The Studio Space is coming along nicely at The Thetford Methodist Church, with multiple backdrops and multiple lighting diffusers for flash and constant LED lighting. I am looking forward to maximising this space and welcoming lots of families and solo portraits in for a photo or video shoot.

Drones:
I have an operator ID & flyer ID from the CAA and I have commercial drone public liability insurance.
The drones I use are all under 250 grams so the restrictions are a lot less, however when higher risks are apparent I will create a risk assessment.
DJI Mini 3 Pro + ND Filters set - Very compact 4K and great for 360 degree captures.
FPV Drone 4K iFlight Defender 20 , DJI Integra Goggles & RC2 Controller + ND Filters set.
Editing and Colour Grading:
